Services and Rates

Investing in bodywork is an investment in your health. Think of it as paying a health insurance premium but instead of little to show for it (because you generally don't want to use it unless you really need to) one immediately receives and feels the benefit of therapeutic bodywork.  Don't wait until you're ill or hurting.  "It is easier to stay well than to get well". .

There are a number of treatments and services now available.  Some people are not sure what they want and need, and this guide may be helpful. Different people have different musculoskeletal structure and thus they respond differently to the very same type of bodywork/massage.  It's good to try out new treatments.  There are now therapies available where the practitioner works through the clothing, eliminating the need to disrobe.  Sessions may vary from very light pressure to very firm pressure and everything in between.  Below you can find the treatment that is right for you.

CURRENT RATES

Full 60 minutes $90

Full 90 minutes $135

Note that you are not charged for interview time unless it's over 10 minutes.  Allow an extra 20 to 25 minutes when you schedule; for example, a 90 minute session might actually be 110 to 115 minutes from the time you arrive to the time you walk out the door.

SWEDISH-ESALEN

Swedish-Esalen is light and gentle, emphasizing nurturing and healing touch.  The movements are soft, easy, slow; promoting deep relaxation.  Reduce stress, relieve pain, improve digestion and sleep.

DEEP TISSUE

More specific techniques which effect the sub-layer of musculature and fascia.  Helps with some chronic muscular pain injuries.  Can reduce inflammation related pain caused by arthritis and tendonitis.  Very effective for most active people!

P U S H   THERAPY

PUSH Therapy will change the way you look at bodywork. For clients who like firm or medium-firm pressure in a therapeutic massage PUSH will rock your world.  This is an educational specialized muscle therapy for almost everyone. Athletes, office workers, laborers; people who have tried physical therapy; anyone who has chronic passive tension/pain in their muscles that does not go away.    To get details on this exciting therapy, go to the "PUSH Therapy" page!

SPIRIT ENERGY SESSION

Uses a combination of light touch therapies. A session may include Craniosacral, Polarity, Silent Mantra, Acupressure, Qi Gong, and spirit guided touch.  Come back to your precious inner self and remember your worthiness.

ACUPRESSURE

Acupressure is an ancient healing art that uses the fingers to press key points on the surface of the skin to stimulate the body's natural self-curative abilities. Choose from a general Golden Points session,  three Strange Flow treatments, or specific meridian work.

NEUROMUSCULAR THERAPY/INJURY RECOVERY

Specific treatment to speed your recovery from injury accidents.  Specific strokes and trigger point work are applied.

STRUCTURAL INTEGRATION

Based on the work of Dr. Ida Rolf, therapeutic intervention is directed toward the myofascial system. I use different angles and degrees of physical pressure to stretch and guide fascia to a place of easier movement.  One of the goals is to create a more resilient, higher energy system free of inhibitions due to past trauma.  You don't have to commit to a 10 session series to participate.  You'll feel lighter and freer after just one session!

CHI NEI TSANG

"Chi" means energy and "Nei Tsang" means viscera or internal organs.  CNT Practitioners work mainly on the abdomen with deep, soft, and gentle touch to train internal organs to work more efficiently.  CNT integrates applied Qi Gong with the art of abdominal massage.

FEET/BACK/NECK SESSION

This session is a mini-reflexology, deep tissue, structural integration, trigger point, and sometimes acupressure combo treatment focusing on the typical tight neck and shoulders many of us have.
